We recommend SS IPTV for most Irish users — it's free, straightforward, and handles large channel playlists (like our 27,000+ channel list) very reliably. Smart IPTV is also excellent if you want a richer EPG experience and don't mind the one-time licence fee.

Method 1 — Set Up Using SS IPTV (Recommended — Free)
Step 1 — Install SS IPTV from Samsung Smart Hub

Open Smart Hub on Your Samsung TV
Press the Home button on your Samsung remote. This opens the Smart Hub at the bottom of the screen.

Go to Apps → Search
Select the Apps icon (the grid icon). Then select the Search icon (magnifying glass) in the top right corner and search for SS IPTV.

Install SS IPTV
Select SS IPTV from the results and press Install. The app is free and downloads in under a minute. Once installed, press Open.
Step 2 — Add Your Best Irish IPTV M3U Playlist

Open SS IPTV → Settings → Playlist
Inside SS IPTV, press the Menu button on your remote (or navigate to the settings cog). Go to Settings → Playlist → Add Playlist.

Select "Remote Playlist (M3U)"
Choose Remote Playlist (M3U) as the playlist type. This allows you to enter your M3U URL directly.

Enter Your M3U URL from WhatsApp
Using your Samsung TV's on-screen keyboard (or a connected keyboard), enter your M3U URL exactly as provided in your Best Irish IPTV WhatsApp message. Then press Save.
Easier Way to Enter Your M3U URL
Typing a long M3U URL with a TV remote can be fiddly. Connect a USB keyboard to your Samsung TV's USB port to make entering the URL much faster and error-free. Alternatively, use the SmartThings app on your phone as a remote keyboard.

Return to Main Screen — Channels Load Automatically
Go back to the SS IPTV main screen. Your full channel list — all 27,000+ channels — will load automatically. This takes 30–60 seconds on the first load.
Method 2 — Set Up Using Smart IPTV (€5.49 One-Time Fee)
Step 1 — Install Smart IPTV and Note Your MAC Address

Install Smart IPTV from Smart Hub
Open Smart Hub → Apps → Search for Smart IPTV → Install. Open the app once installed.

Note Your TV's MAC Address
When you first open Smart IPTV, your TV's MAC address is displayed on screen. Write this down — you'll need it in the next step. It looks like:

Visit siptv.eu on Your Phone or Computer
On your smartphone or laptop, go to siptv.eu/mylist/ — this is the official Smart IPTV playlist registration page.

Enter Your MAC Address and M3U URL
Enter your TV's MAC address in the first field. Then paste your M3U URL from your Best Irish IPTV WhatsApp message into the URL field. Tick Remember this list and click Send.

Reload Smart IPTV on Your Samsung TV
Back on your Samsung TV, close and reopen the Smart IPTV app. Your channel list will load from the URL you registered. The full channel list takes 1–2 minutes to load on the first launch.
Smart IPTV One-Time Licence
Smart IPTV runs in trial mode for the first 30 minutes. After that, a one-time payment of €5.49 activates a lifetime licence for your TV. This fee is paid to the Smart IPTV developer — it is separate from your Best Irish IPTV subscription and is not something we charge or control.

Use Ethernet for the Best Picture Quality

Troubleshooting — Samsung TV IPTV Issues

SS IPTV or Smart IPTV Not Loading Channels
Double-check that your M3U URL was entered or pasted correctly with no extra spaces. Try refreshing the playlist in Settings. If the issue persists, message our support team on WhatsApp with your TV model number.

Buffering or Freezing on Samsung TV
Try switching from Wi-Fi to Ethernet. Test your broadband speed — you need at least 25 Mbps for Full HD. Clear the app cache in Smart Hub → Apps → SS IPTV → Settings. Restart both your TV and your router.

App Not Available in Samsung App Store
